What to expect
Before your first IPL skin treatment, you and your Skinfixer expert will discuss your skin concerns, the laser skin therapy procedure, and your goals for skin rejuvenation. We will take a photo for records only to track your skin's journey. After undergoing a melanin assessment and a skin cleanse, you will begin the laser treatment, followed by the application of sunscreen. For optimal results, drink a litre of water the day before your appointment.
Aftercare
To maximize the benefits of IPL skin treatments and laser skin therapy, it’s essential to avoid unprotected sun exposure. Remember to reapply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 every two hours. Cleansing your skin twice daily with a gentle cleanser will help remove dirt, sweat, makeup, and bacteria, preventing blocked pores and supporting skin rejuvenation. Avoid any physical exfoliation for 24 hours after treatments, and refrain from using topical products like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Glycolic Acid, and retinols for the same period.
